Using Timer

To start the timer, you can use the following methods.

Using Timer

Select "Start Timer" in the Time menu or press "Ctrl+S" hot keys.

Click "Start Timer" button on the toolbar.

Select the task in the main window of the Personal TaskMaster and click the right mouse button. Choose the "Start" in the opening menu.

Now choose the current task. The Personal TaskMaster displays the following dialog box.

Select a task in the tree and click "Start" to complete the operation. If you want to abort the process, click "Cancel" button. You can add a new task to the task list immediately. Select a destination group and push the "Add New Task" button. Enter an unique name and a description of the new task in the opening "Create New Task" dialog. To complete press "Create" button in this window.

Also you can use the task list in the main window to start timer quickly. Double click on a task in the task list or select a task in the task list and press Enter to start time tracking.

The system tray icon indicates the working status of the timer. Also in the list of today's tasks the current task will be marked yellow.

To stop the timer, you can use this simple methods.
